THE AWE SwitchPath

At the intersection of sophistication and savagery lies the W205 AMG C63/S SwitchPath™ Exhaust. At the core of the SwitchPath™ Exhaust is a valved H-pipe up front and valved resonators in the rear—strategically designed to allow drivers to toggle between mellow and mean with ease. Thanks to AWE’s SwitchPath™ technology, you’re in control of volume and tone through factory controls (for Dynamic Performance Exhaust-equipped cars) or the included SwitchPath™ Remote (for non-DPE cars). Either way, this is your W205’s attitude adjustment built into the exhaust itself.

SwitchPath™ Exhausts reuse the factory AMG tips for a stealth OEM+ appearance.

Two versions available:

For vehicles with Dynamic Performance Exhaust – Uses factory controls.
For vehicles without Dynamic Performance Exhaust – Comes complete with SwitchPath™ Remote (set of two), control box, and valve motors.

THE TRACK EDITION

Unfiltered. Uncensored. All go, all the time.

The Track Edition is the rowdy sibling of the SwitchPath™ Exhaust. It ditches the rear resonators and valves, replacing them with straight-through sections for maximum sound, all the time. Built from the same precision-crafted T304L stainless as the SwitchPath™, and featuring the same valved H-pipe up front (controlled automatically by factory electronics), the Track Edition turns the W205 into a full-time thunderstorm.

Heads up: This system gets loud in the mid-range and is not for the faint of heart. Due to its no-compromise nature, the Track Edition cannot be returned based on sound preference

Please Note: Cars with the optional AMG Performance Exhaust will need to order the AWE valve simulators along with the Track Edition Exhaust. Cars without the AMG Performance Exhaust do not need valve simulators.This Track Edition reuses the factory tips for that stealth look (and anything but that stealth sound).

CONVERSION KITS: TRACK-TO-SWITCHPATH AND BACK

Realize you want to stay rowdy all the time, or that you’re toooooo rowdy? Take full control of your AMG by swapping the rear Track Edition straight sections and replacing them with AWE's valved SwitchPath™ Mufflers, or vice versa. Easy.

VALVE SIMULATORS

When valves are eliminated on the Track Edition, the ECU stores what is known as a ‘soft code’ in the system, which may not appear on the dash. While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. Start it up. Drive away. That simple. Comes as a set of two.
